“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” Henry David Thoreau

The selection of a Life Coach is a very important decision; he or she is a person with whom you are going to create a powerful partnership which will help motivate, encourage and inspire you towards achieving excellent results.
I believe that good decisions are based on good information; to that end I have set out some biographical information about me in order to assist you make a well informed decision.
In common with many of my clients I have many roles to fulfil in life. I am a mother, daughter, sister and a wife and business woman, which present me with a variety of demands and challenges.
I am blessed with two energetic children. They have taught me a great deal about being in a resourceful state to bring out the best in them and in me as a parent. It is challenging but worth it. I share with my children some of my skills and techniques, to enable them to be resourceful and confident when they face challenges at school, in sports or any area of their life.
I believe that coaching is effective and efficient at facilitating the changes we want, in order to achieve the successes we deserve. It increases our expectations of ourselves and raises the bar just at the right time as we move towards fulfilling our potential.
I worked in public sector management for 11years and studied for and gained my post graduate in Housing Studies, whilst working full time. In my role I motivated, mentored and enabled my staff and colleagues to maximise their potential at work. I discovered that this was the most rewarding part of my working life and decided to qualify and launch my life coaching practice.
Taking the decision to make such a big change in my life took time and consideration until I instinctively knew it was right for me to step out and take this new more fulfilling direction. I am very happy to be offering my skills and expertise to a wider group of people who are looking for change and want to manage it within the safety of the client coach relationship.
I have had many challenges in my academic, work and business life that has taught me that change is good when you are in charge of it, otherwise change happens anyway. When we give up our right to have control and influence in those things that we can change, we are left with confusion and feeling that something is missing from our lives. Ask yourself who you are and where you want to be. That is a great start in forging a path in life. With the right life coach you will be more effective and efficient in your own decision making about your life. Your coach must be 100% in the service of your agenda, so when choosing a coach, nothing less will do.
My philosophy is ' Dare to Dream'. What is stopping us from aiming high, achieving our dreams and living the life we have imagined? Is it our lack of self belief, time, resourses or have we lost sight of our goal. Bringing our dreams or goals back into focus, can drive us towards them.
I had the privilege of training with internationally renowned life coach and author Curly Martin and gained my diploma from her training company Achievement Specialists.
I am not one to stand still and like to think that I practice what I preach. It was with that in mind that I decided to train and qualify as a Neuro Linguistic Practitioner (NLP). Having used a Neuro Linguistic Practitioner (NLP) in the past, I felt that my clients would benefit from the addition of the NLP toolkit to help them achieve the results they desire in their professional and private lives. This prompted me to train with Brain-Training in 2007 and qualify as an NLP Practitioner. I then gained my Master Practitioner status in 2008. Brain-Training’s founder Dawn Flockhart trained with the co-founder of NLP, Dr Richard Bandler.
