Is a Life Coach a Counsellor?
Simply put… No. Coaching is not the couch. It is based in the present and is forward moving.

I have a busy lifestyle I don’t have the time to meet a coach regularly, can we speak over the phone?

Telephone coaching can be just as effective as coaching face to face with a client. Some clients prefer their sessions to take place over the phone as this allows them the freedom to have their coaching at almost anytime. It means that I can coach you wherever you may be!

Will my coach give me the advice I need?

Coaching is a non directional practice. Your coach will never advise you what to do. They will question you and enable you to make the right choices for you. Do you like being told what to do? My clients don’t and they deliver the best results when they are enabled to make their own choices about their life. With your permission your coach may offer you insight or inspiration to consider a range of options, what you do with that information is up to you! They cannot solve your problems but they can certainly help you to find your own answers. It is the job of the coach to raise your self awareness and empower you to uncover your own resourcefulness.
